Thanks to the unique TRAMONTINA hardening method in several stages (thermal hardening, cooling, freezing, heating by gas), the steel acquires special plasticity, corrosion and heat resistance, while maintaining a hardness of about 53 units on the Rockwell scale. As a result, the steel is harder, requires less dressing and sharpening, which provides a longer service life compared to products from similar steel from other manufacturers.
